New Business Acquisition

"It is with great pleasure that I can announce that on 14th March 2005, Street CraneXpress Ltd purchased the crane and hoist division of Brandon Loadtite", that was the statement from Managing Director Simon Eastwood on the latest acquisition by SCX earlier this year.

Based in Avonmouth, Bristol, the branch will be the focal point for activities in South West England including crane related business, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), statutory inspections, term contracts as well as supporting our UK wide 24-hour breakdown service. They have 4 engineers who are LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) qualified, a branch manager and an apprentice and they have a large portfolio of PPM contracts including UKAEA, Harwell and BNFL, North Wales.

SCX will continue to pursue a strategy of acquisition in the future and are looking to purchase similar businesses in other parts of the country.
