New 3D design process

SCX are moving ahead in design by introducing a revolutionary 3Dconnexion SpacePilot to their design department. The SpacePilot connects you to the 3D design process with its advanced 6 degree-of-freedom optical sensor and ergonomic design.

With the 3Dconnexion's SpacePilot, you simply push, pull, tilt or twist the controller cap to simultaneously pan, zoom and rotate 3D imagery. The main advantage for SCX of using a 3D navigation device over a mouse and keyboard is the ease of performing intricate adjustments to camera views and models.

The SpacePilot has a unique adaptive sensing technology that gives us the functionality we want, the instant we want it. Relevant commands become available on the dynamic LCD and update as you switch between applications or work in different modes within an application. Additional features include 6 programmable function keys, quick navigation view keys and keyboard modifiers.

SpacePilot automatically recognises the programs already located on a computer such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer Wildfire, Solid Edge and a host of other CAD and DCC applications.

There 3Dconnexion's configuration wizard is an interactive tool that uses animation and imagery to guide you through controller cap movement and configuring your preferences. It also provides demonstration applications so you can practice or start using the device right away.
