Growth for Success
SCX Ltd’s continuing success has created a requirement to further expand the company's physical and human resources. Continued growth has led to the employment of yet more staff in order to handle the influx of new work. And in order to accommodate all the new people, the Head Office premises in Sheffield are currently being expanded and revamped.
In the last few months the SCX Group has taken on three new members of staff, one for each of the group companies: Alan Richardson joins Integral Cradles with wealth of experience in the access industry. Having also project managed in the materials handling industry, the specialization of Street CraneXpress, Alan moved into access 5 years ago and now joins Integral for the chance to work on many of their high profile projects. Ian Pillay joins Street CraneXpress's Special Projects department as a Project Manager, and will be working on projects such as Wimbledon and various nuclear materials handling solutions. It is for this reason that he joined, as it is these high profile and large value jobs that will be exactly what he needs to complete his Chartered status with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Last, but not least, is John Parry, who joins Burnand XH as the new Sales Representative for the Sheffield and South Yorkshire area. John has had a varied career, including several years working in the telecoms industry, as well as a history of successful own-businesses, which he sold two years ago to spend time with his young family. With this investment in people and premises; the head office being extended to provide new office space, two state of the art conference rooms and a refurbished reception area, SCX Ltd are certainly looking to the future with the vision of continuing their current success.
