Uniquely they also offer 24 hour 7 day call out support with a guaranteed response time.

Automated Paper Handling Application

Our partnership with Fairfields allows us to develop unique mechanical handling solutions that require particularly complex and intricate control system solutions. This means the final solution is not only more safe, accurate and reliable, but provides additional capabilities such as condition monitoring, extensive status and alarm monitoring with the collection of operational data being used for a wide range of Management Information reporting possibilities. These additional facilities are particularly useful on the larger or more elaborate projects where extensive control solutions are critical to their success.

Previous collaborative projects include:

  • An automated storage and retrieval handling system for a major paper manufacturer. Fully automated, the system is capable of automatically organising the 4 Tonne rolls of paper in a two-storey “buffer store” to allow production processes to continue whilst sections of the production line machinery are serviced.
  • The Wimbledon Centre Court moving roof, currently under construction. The concertina design of the roof ensures that it can operate in the space available. The 6000sqm roof will be capable of closing in under 10 minutes so as to allow play to continue even in poor weather conditions.
