Solid Modelling & CAD Design

The projects department utilises some of the best Computer Aided Design packages currently available. Any project can be designed using either 3D or 2D draughting techniques.

Pro Engineer Wildfire 2 is used primarily as our solid modelling system. From within this package we can produce:

• Solid models.
• 3D arrangements.
• Animations of full system operations.
• Analysis of designs for material stresses and deflections due to mechanical loading or thermal conditions.
• FEA studies applied to wire frame, shell models, solid models or combinations of all three at the same time.

Solid models are often produced for tender purposes, which our clients can review on software provided free of charge. This gives the ability to spin the models around and zoom in on key areas. The software also allows sub assemblies and parts within the assembly to be viewed separately, so our clients can literally pull the assembly apart piece by piece.

You do not appear to have the Windows Media Player plug-in installed on this machine. Unfortunately you cannot view the video without this plug-in.
