Marshall Specialist Vehicles

When Marshall Specialist Vehicles decided to expand their site at Mildenhall near Cambridge, due to a large increase in business, they brought in the experts to help with the overhead crane facilities.

Initiallty SCX resized and relocated two overhead cranes and their gantries from one hangar to another, and installed a new 3.2Tonne crane and gantry to provide sufficient overhead crane coverage for the new fabrication area.

The success of this project within a tight two week schedule earnt SCX further conversion work by the Custom Vehicle Manufacturer. This included the provision of ancillary hoists for the existing crab units, radio controls, another crane relocation and modification, as well as an additional bespoke light crane and two jibs for handling of small components. It was SCX's complete range of refurbishment and modification services that meant we were able to provide a total solution for the custom vehicle manufacturer.
